News Lesson Plans was established in 2021. Five lesson plans of the latest news topics are released each week. It's best to purchase news bundles with five articles, and allow students to choose their article of choice. Resources are created by experienced classroom teachers. Current events articles are not right or left leaning, and content is free of exaggerated bias. Each lesson plan includes a news reading passage, graphic organizers, literacy strategies, comprehension questions, and lesson extensions for advanced learners. Publication of News Lesson Plans pause during the last two weeks of December, and throughout the entire months of June and July.
